We are now closed for the Easter holidays. We hope everyone has a great break and we look forward to seeing you all again when the school opens for the children on Tuesday 22nd April.

Welcome to our new Academy website!
We are very proud of our school, which was built in 1897, and is one of the oldest schools in Reading. The school has played a key role in our community for 120 years, and I am pleased to say that we continue to take this role very seriously.
As we serve such a diverse community we think very carefully about the curriculum we offer to our pupils. We also celebrate the different ethnic backgrounds of our families, many of whom do not have English as their first language.
Our curriculum therefore has local, national and international aspects to it, which we feel will better develop Battle pupils into well-rounded, aspirational citizens of the 21st century.
In our Academy, we encourage children to experiment and try new things within a safe environment. By creating such an ethos, each child is able to play a full part in school life, and their confidence and self-esteem will develop.
Of course, behind every great pupil is a great teacher! Visit the Staff page to learn more about the dedicated leaders, teachers and support staff within our school.
We also value your feedback on how we are doing, so please put your comments into the feedback form. Our website will continue to grow, and will be updated regularly, so please visit again!
Please also read a personal welcome message from the Principal.

We are a fun and welcoming school, supported by a happy and caring community. We are all proud to be a part of Battle Primary Academy, and together we facilitate inspirational and creative learning opportunities. Our passion and expertise in learning ensures that everyone is recognised as an individual who is challenged to achieve their full potential.
